About the black light
MARKTEC’s black lights (ultraviolet flaw detection lights) are designed and fabricated under the most suitable conditions for flaw detection testings in which ultraviolet rays (UV-A) including 365 nm are irradiated.
Magnetic particle testing It is used to observe results of various inspections such as fluorescent penetrant testing (fluorescent PT), magnetic particle testing (MT), and leakage inspection, as well as in a broad range of applications including inspections for contamination such as oils and fiber waste.
Types of black light
MARKTEC provides a lineup of two types, or “Handy-type” to be used holding by hand and “Stationary-type” to be used by fixing to the ceiling, etc.

Visible light cutting filter
MARKTEC’s black lights can be provided with “Visible light cutting filter” which prevent penetration of visible lights, as an option. (Excluding some models) It is possible to observe patterns in good contrast as there is no reflection of visible light from the observing surface.

UV intensity tester
Digital UV Light Intensity Tester UV-2500Ⅲ
Daily management is required to ensure ultraviolet rays irradiated from black lights are kept to the brightness (intensity) specified in the standards and company procedures.
The UV intensity tester is used for measuring the brightness (intensity) of those ultraviolet rays.

- The UV intensity up to 15,000 μW/cm2 can be measured digitally in numbers. (Measured figures can be indicated up to 30,000 μW/cm2)
