As a result of our goal "to provide safety and reliability to society through quality assurance," we will help to solve the social issues of SDG No. 9, which is to "Create a platform for industry and technological innovation: Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and foster innovation." and SDG No. 12, "Responsible consumption and production: Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns." * Emphasis is placed on a circular economy that reduces, reuses, and recycles in order to continue sustainable consumption in line with growth.

SDGs are international goals for 2016 up to 2030 that were adopted at the United Nations Summit. Consisting of 17 goals and 169 targets to achieve a sustainable world, it is a pledge that no one on the planet will be left behind. The SDGs are universal goals that not only developing countries but also developed countries themselves are working on. Japan is also actively engaged in SDGs.
Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and foster innovation.
The aim of SDG No. 9 is to set up infrastructure and achieve economic development with an emphasis on sustainability so that everyone can access and participate equally. For example, the goal includes that everyone can use infrastructure such as public transport, water, energy, and communications inexpensively. Sustainability will be improved by improving the efficiency of resource utilization and improving infrastructure and industry through the introduction and wide-spread use of clean technologies and environmentally friendly technologies and industrial processes.
Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns
The aims of Goal 12 are, by 2030, to achieve sustainable management of natural resources, reduce food waste by half per capita globally at retail and consumption levels and reduce food losses in production and supply chains; minimize adverse effects on human health and the environment by achieving environmentally conscious management of chemicals and all waste throughout the product life cycle as well as significantly reducing emissions from said chemicals and waste into the air, water, and soil, and significantly reduce waste by reusing resources and so on. Goal 12 also encourages companies to conduct environmentally sustainable practices and to include information on sustainability in regular reports.
